Key Pouch

I just made a key pouch today! The other one has ran its time. hehe.

sew

It is a key pouch with 2 opening - one back and one front.
The back looks like the front.

Below is a list of things you need and step-by-step instructions I'd like to share with any one out there.
If you don't want to do the exact same one, at least you can get some ideas. :)

sew

1. Sew the inside and outside pieces together.

It will look like this.

2a. Sew the cloth for the keyrings.
Fold the cloth like this: (fold the leftside in 2/3 of the way and the right side in 1/3 of the way)
sew

2b. Then, fold the right flap over onto the left.
sew

2c. Sew it together in the middle like this:

2d. Repeat for other piece.
* The reason you need 2 is because 1 will be placed inside for the keys and the other outside.

Now, sew the 2 flaps and back pieces together.
3a. Place cloths in this manner:
Back piece, facing up.
On top of that, put 2 flaps side by side. Sewn parts meeting in the middle. Outside cloth facing up.
On top of that, put 2 flaps side by side. Sewn parts meeting in the middle. Inside cloth facing up.
On top of that, put back piece, facing down.
sew

3b. Sew them together by the sides.

3c. Repeat for other side.

4. Turn it inside out and fold the flaps out.
sew

5. I suggest hand-sewing this part as it is a bit tricky.
Turn the top of the pouch and tuck it inside.
Do this one side at a time so that it is easier to manage.
sew

6. Don't forget the piece for the key rings.
You can sew it on before folding it down.

7. Tuck the other cloth for the outside key ring while sewing one of the sides.

Voila! All good and ready to use!
